Did a Great Job!!
Very honest, Very professional. Educated, involved us throughout the process, we are new to septic. Showed us what they looked for and explained how things should work in our system, what we need to watch for. Tank was emptied, sludge removed, the field was sucked to remove all water and retreated with bacteria. We have a septic system that is a bit odd in construction and they were great to address it for us. I got their name from my neighbor who also used them and they too were very happy. Great job, very pleased!
Honest with Exceptional Service
We had a very interesting situation since the prior home owner covered the septic covers with a driveway. We had another septic service company come out several months ago that could not even find the tank. Our estimate from them was about $5000 for cutting the driveway, inspection and cleaning. Needless to say, we weren't too eager to jump on that. We decided to try a different company - and with good reviews we chose SSP. Michael arrived within a few days and found the tank in about 5 minutes. What is even better is he found out exactly where the lids were and in fact only part of the tank was covered by the driveway! He gave us what I thought was a very fair quote for what needed to be done. We got on his schedule - he showed up on time - and did the job (which included cutting part of the driveway, digging the holes and cleaning) very quickly and effectively. He cleaned up and was just a great guy to talk to. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Fantastic Job
They had to come out twice (didn't charge for the extra trip) because we had a difficult time finding our tank. They found it under or deck which had to be removed to access the tank. Once I resolved that they came out again and emptied the tank and repaired the drain field. It was long overdue. Thanks for the great job!! Ken

I have used Septic Service Pro on a few occasions (Which by the way is no negative reflection on them). They are definitely Septic Service Pros. Their pricing is fair, the personnel are polite and as professional as it gets. I accidentally paid hundreds to another company out of Gainesville that begins with an "H" who said Yup.. its broke and got nothing more than that. I called Septic Service pro who fixed it for less than the other company who charged hundreds >$500 to agree its broke and charged a sickly high service call.

A wonderful company with excellent people!
Michael and Shane did an awesome/fantastic job. They had to locate our main septic tank which was in the front yard. They pumped the septic, installed a new baffle tee and installed a new concrete lid. The original septic guy who installed our tank broke one of the lids and covered the spot with 2x10's and a sheet of plywood. After 24 years this had rotted and caved in and the tank was full of dirt and wood. They did not charge me any extra for this additional work. They ordered me a new concrete lid, went to Gainesville to pick it up and installed it. While covering it up the new lid broke and all the concrete and dirt went back into the tank. These guys just got back to work and dug it out by hand and ordered another lid. The faulty lid cost them additional time and money, but they did not charge me any additional to cover their loss. Very little yard displaced. I will definitely use Septic Service Pro again. I cannot say enough about this company and the great team they have put together. They are honest, reliable, and do the job right. If you ever have any septic issues this is the only company you need to call.
VERY GOOD SERVICE!
I called Septic Service Pro on Wednesday 12 Aug to have our septic tank pumped at our home in Flowery Branch. Clarence set up an appt for Thursday morning. Next day Mike and Shane showed up promptly at 9a.m., drained the tank, did an inspection, cleaned everything, and completed the job in 1 hour. Great friendly service all around! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Company
Great company! Gave me a rough idea of the cost over the phone. Came out to my house gave a fair estimate. After digging they found that it would cost a bit more (based on the condition and age of my septic tank) but DID NOT charge me a dime extra!!! The saved me a ton of money by knowing how to fix my problem instead of suggesting that I replace my drain field (like the other three companies did). Worked late into the night and completed the job. Plus left the work area looking neater than when they started. If you are looking for a fair, honest, company that knows their business and does a fantastic job, look no further. These guys are the best!

We had them come out and pump our tank. They started digging and water came up. The people that pumped it before (Atlas Free Flo) just pumped the water and not solids! Do not use Atlas! Michael from Septic Service Pro explained everything that had happened. He gave details of what him and the other guy were doing. They had to pump more than they were supposed to and put a new drain on the tank. There were no hidden charges it was what he said it would be. They were very friendly, nice and professional. I cant say enough about this company. Clarence answered the phone and was the nicest person. I want to say thank you to all 3 guys. We will use them again and I have text everyone I know with a septic tank your number. Thank you again for being so honest!!!
Awesome Service!
I recently bought a house and used them for two septic tank inspections. Once we picked the house, they came and fixed up the tank for us and pumped it. Clarence answered the phone and scheduled all the services for us. Jamie came and did the work. They are all awesome. So professional and courteous, always punctual and did a great job! very impressive
I was impressed by the knowledge and patience from the first phone call. I had a lot of questions about my system, and they cheerfully and patiently answered them. Michael and Shane were our techs and they worked very hard to not only dig to a hard-to-access tank, but Shane got into our tank to clean out dirt from a cave-in years ago! Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, and explained every step of the repair process. This is the type of honest, hard working business that makes our city and state a great place to live.

Excellent and prompt service
I called on New Years Day at 3pm and they were going to try to send someone out that day with no extra holiday charge. I asked them to come the next morning due to prior plans I had. Nick showed up fri morning and explained step by step, what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. After my concern on the cost, he called the office and they gave me a flat price and he promised that would be the price regardless of what parts used, etc. He fixed the issue and was very personable. I would highly recommend this company.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We had been struggling on and off with slow drainage and had several other companies tell us that we needed to spend thousands on a new drain field. Septic Service Pro came out and with minutes determined that it was a simple fix due to a part being improperly installed by another company that we had previously used. Honest, dependable, reliable. we had a sewage/septic pump that wasn't working, I told them we had an elderly renter and needed to have it done asap. They rearranged their schedule and sent mike out. Knowledgable and Honest
I read a ton of reviews before I settled on Septic Service Pro. Glad I did because the service was great. Very few people who go with the company that charges $189 to pump your tank pay less than $600. I had over 4' of sludge in my tank and they still only charged me $295. Mike inspected the tank and all looked well. I told him I was having issues with the toilet and some lower drains gurgling. He could have sold me the farm but suggested we just pump for now since the build up in the tank was so high but if it happens again I would know in about a week or so. Well the gurgling is back and Mike is coming back out soon and I'm confident he will correct the issue and not try to sell me something I don't need. He already had a plan of attack if the pumping didn't correct the issue and alerted me to a ballpark price should he need to come out. No surprise there. I compared his ballpark price to what others have paid and with their $189 specials turning in to $4000-$6000 and I won't be close. Bottom line is that they have already proven to be honest and I know when he leaves my house next Monday it will be fixed and I will not have paid for something I did not get or paid for something I don't need. If I experience something otherwise you can be sure I'll write it up but I have a feeling I will be giving them some more praise. You can trust these guy's because integrity matters to them!
Highly Recommend
The staff at Septic Service Pro were friendly, professional, and prompt. Michael and Sean showed me what needed to be replaced/repaired on our septic tank and explained why. When they were finished they showed me what they did. My husband was very pleased that they took the time to cut the grass out in blocks and replaced them so not to damage the lawn. I would highly recommend this company and have given their phone number to neighbors.
Really, Really helpful!
I highly recommend this company. The technicians who visted us when our septic alarm went off, quickly diagnosed the problem, which had an easy fix, but could have just as easily told us we needed a new costly pump when we did not, which others might have done. They went further to educate us "new septic owners" about things to be aware of, and went above the call of duty to also help us locate the path of our septic drain field pipe. I will use them for all our septic needs.

The crew just left my house and the first thing I wanted to do was review them. They were prompt, professional, and did a great job. The crew contacted me plenty of time ahead of their arrival and showed up exactly on time. Throughout the entire process they walked me through what they were doing, why they were doing it, and fully explaining my options. Even though I asked a ton of questions they were patient with me and gave me all the information I needed to make decisions. There was no complaint when the work went from just pumping my tank, but repairing it and cleaning both my field in intake, just two really hard working guys doing their job. After calling 3 other companies with no returned calls or can't do it attitude, I finally found Septic Service Pro. The scheduler was courteous. They showed up on time. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a very reasonable cost. This was to problem was a fix of a previous repair done 8 months ago by another company.
Repeat Customer is Once Again Pleased!
When we had to have our septic tank serviced again, we decided to try a different company b/c they had earlier availability; however, we quickly reverted back to SSP when the other company failed to call and let us know they could not come out ON THE DAY OF SERVICE. We had to initiate a call to them, b/c we had not received a confirmation call for our appointment and our service time frame was at the halfway point. Michael and his associate were prompt, very knowledgeable and efficient. They thoroughly explained the work they were doing, the price (for additional services), and suggestions / recommendations for any areas of concern. Their tag line of "The Best Name In The Industry" is very true! This was a lesson learned to "stick" with who you know!

I discovered a problem on Christmas day...called them the next morning, Mike was here by 1:00...he has bad news about my tank, but the good news, was he was prepared to fix it now. I had the same problem as the one negative reviews I read...broke pipe and "just needed a T-pipe"...thing is, Mike is the pro, has the knowledge to do it and had the big truck...as I see it, it worth every dime I spent...PLC
Saved My Christmas!
Here it is Christmas Eve, family in town and all the stuff that goes with it and my septic system stops working. Called these guys right away and they had somebody here within an hour or so. They took care of the problem in no time and at a very reasonable price. You could say they saved my family's Christmas. No "emergency fee" like you might find with other companies. I was shaking in my boots when our septic tank backed up on Superbowl Sunday! On Monday morning I called some of the $199 guys and got so much "double-talk" that I knew I was in for a good financial beating. During my exploration I stumbled across Septic Service Pro. From the very moment the owner, Clarence, answered the phone I knew I was going to be OK. He explained what I needed and why with confidence. No doubletalk whatsoever! When his crew arrived they expertly started working on my septic system. They took the time to explain what they were looking for and pointed out potential problems in my aging system. They proceeded to pump-out my tank and let me know exactly where I stood both short and long term. I was informed about near-term repairs that should be done BUT I was never pressured to make the repairs right on the spot. They let me know that my septic system would operate properly even without the repairs, but explained the risks of deferring repairs. I am in the automotive repair business and I can spot a fraud a mile away! These folks have earned my highest recommendation, which is very hard to do! Rarely today can you find honest hard-working people that truly care about their customers and charge a VERY FAIR PRICE! HOw else can I say it but...So Impressed.Jim & Mike just went over and beyond to fix our problem and kept us informed along the way..They were an answered prayer. Our lives have been so overwhelmed with health issues that just one more things was gonna be the tipping pitcher.. Our home was built in the late 80's and nver had a septic problem, Until now and oh by the way they were not even gonna be here for another day then I got a call that they were coming today before 2:00 I was so happy I wanted to cry. It was like having a family memeber come to my house and fix my problem without reaming me over the coals.They totally made me feel like my case was not the WORST Case they have seen. If you ever need to have poop pumped, no I am not talking colonoscopy, this is your company. After reading and hearing horror stories about people being scammed I was very nervous to have our tank pumped. Jim was fabulous; arrived early with a phone call prior to arrival. They didn't find, or manufacture any non-existent problems to jack up the price. Honest work for a fair price and they put my lawn back together beautifully. If these guys ever want to get out of the business and into training other service professionals, they could definately make it. Careful to make sure I knew what they were doing at all times, not hiding any prices or fixes and very reasonable. My yard is actually in better shape than before they dug it up. Honesty & Intetrity
Septic Service Pro just completed a huge project for me, that of connecting to DeKalb's public sewer system. These folks invested an enormous amount of time doing the homework, working with the county inspectors, acquiring the needed permits, scheduling large equipment, procuring supplies, & scheduling personnel for a four day excavation. The connection was 18 feet below the surface of the road with many obstacles to overcome back to my house. Clarance & Jim exhibited confidense & peace through it all. Everyday, the site was cleaned and prepped for the next day. I can't say enough great things about this company or Clarance & Jim. I will call them again for just about anything, because they also have a reliable network of people with whom they do business. Very rare to find so much integrity! Thank you gentlemen!
Don't fall for those $195 companies!!!
My septic alarm went off so I went online and had a company come to pump out my septic system for $195. $765 later and with a bid for over $3,000, I called Septic Service Pro and Jim was at my door within 2 hours. He took care of all my problems for under a third of the other companies bid. I highly recommend Jim and his company. Very prompt and professional. Jim takes great pride in his work!!!
Never been pumped
Our home's septic tank had never been pumped out since it was built in the mid '80's. To top it off, it was located 2.5 feet under our front sidewalk. The crew that came out SSP was very knowledgeable and professional. They did an excellent job of quickly exposing, pumping, and repairing the tank (including installing a new lid with riser for easy access the next time), and for a reasonable price. We will sleep better knowing our septic system will not be causing an untimely disaster and is good for the future.

They were very professional.They were even earlier than they had said, which was GREAT! (I needed my shower, washer,toilets, dishwasher!) I expected my yard to be completely torn up, but they did very little damage. I was also expecting to pay a large sum of money, but they were very reasonably priced. I recommend them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Septic Tank Inspection
While purchasing a house I had them come out a perform a septic tank inspection. They were all courteous and very knowledgeable of what was working properly and items that needed to be monitored or repaired. Well worth the money and would use them again for any septic tank needs in the future.

When I started having trouble with my septic system, I called two companys to check it out and what it would cost to fix it. Well I had major problems. Both companies told me the same thing about what was whong but it stopped there. Septic Service Pro gave me the best price by a lot and there was no high pressure from them like from the other co.. I hired them to do the job and they even went to the county to pick up a permit that I needed at no extra cost. Fixed a complicated problem
Jim and Clarence from Septic Service Pro were just great. I had an old septic system that needed a new drain field. But I had a small lot that was complicated by it being a lake lot and having a neighbors well next to my lot that myself and three neighbors shared. Jim persevered working with the county health department for many weeks to get a permit and design a system that fit my needs and budget. I couldn't have done it without their positive and can do attitude. I definitely recommend them.
Professional and Quality Work
I was very pleased with the service we received from Septic Service Pro. Was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. Jim and Mike arrived at the time promised. Jim was very thorough in his explanation of the work that was being done and the reasons behind each step. We did need some repair work and the options were presently clearly and the work done very efficiently. They did their best to minimize the area they needed to dig and cleaned up the area nicely when they were done. All in all, a very professional and quality job. I would recommend them highly.
I have used many and they are the best
Very courteous, explain everything in detail and go the extra mile. They did extensive repair along with pumping my system. I will use them for now on. They even made an extra free visit to help me with a building permit for Board of Health. What other company would do that!!!
Great service and wonderful people
The service was excellent. They were out when they said they would and have it completed and inspected as they told us. We had a field line problem and they came out and gave a reasonable price for the work to be done, however, they did not lay any grass seed down. We had hay all over the area worked on, but no grass. Overall they did what they said they would do. They even replaced a broken wheelbarrow one of their employees broke.

When looking for a service provider I like to read reviews on the company and see what other people thought about their service. So when my septic tank needed cleaning that's what I did and came upon Septic Service Pro and the reviews were excellent. I called and spoke with Clarence who was extremely friendly and knowledgable. My appt. was set for a few days out. However, they had a cancellation and were able to come even sooner. My husband and I were extremely pleased with Jim and Mike. They took their time in answering our many questions! We watched them work and they told us what they were doing every step of the way. I feared what our yard was going to look like when they finished after having to dig two holes, but I must admit I was amazed at how they put it all back together and it looked great. They don't use the bait and switch method on their pricing like many companies do, and their prices are very reasonable! And as an added bonus they gave us a years worth of Enzymes for our septic tank! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is having problems with their septic system!

Our septic system was backing up--can you picture sewer water in the shower with every toilet flush? Clarence answered our call at 8 am, and Jim and Mike were at our house by 10 am. Very knowledgeable and so helpful. Our septic tank inlet valve was completely clogged (thanks to the new garbage disposal and too much grease!). I recommend these fellows to anyone with septic problems!

Nice Folks, Great Communicators
My neighbor found Septic Service Pro on kudzu.com and called them to repair his tank. I had been worrying about mine for years, so I asked Jim and Mike Canavan if they could pump it while they were on location. They were very accommodating and got the job done in a couple of hours. My tank needed repairs, which were obvious once the lid was opened. Jim had a price list of each repair and recommended the minimum necessary. His prices were comparable to what other friends have paid over the years. The finished work looked and they did a good job protecting the lawn and driveway.

These guys were wonderful! They came late to clean our tank and found some problems. Everything was explained clearly and the price up front.
